Guámpara

The premier independent record label in Cuba, Guámpara is a  megaphone for Afrocuba musicians who would otherwise struggle to have their voice heard. Founded by Isnay "DJ Jigüe" Rodriguez and American Laura Catana the label covers marketing, production, distribution and audiovisual for genres including electronic, hip hop, soul and Reggae.

We came on board the Guámpara team in early 2018 team to help them as they transitioned from a Cuba-focused outfit to an international record label. This meant signing digital distribution deals, consulting on contracts with artists and partners, developing a revenue strategy and driving the international growth.
