Founders: Doug Foster, Ryan Bove, Ryan Husted and myself

Aurochs Brewing Company, based just outside of Pittsburgh, was created to do what many had tried before, but few had succeeded: create a great-tasting gluten-free beer. The brewery was founded by Doug Foster, who has celiacs disease, and Ryan Bove, who is gluten intolerant, out of a love of and passion for beer.  Through combination of alternative grains, novel brewing practices, and a lot of hard work, Aurochs is now available in the Pittsburgh region and rapidly expanding due to its die-hard following.

As a co-founder of the brewery, I helped Aurochs craft their voice to engage and mobilize the gluten-free community. I even did a little taste testing, too.
